“Atonement is based on the old Thai story “Lilit Pralor” (ลิลิตพระลอ) about a throuple who are killed by villagers because they have a different idea of love. The artist reimagined this story using 3 gays to tell the same story with a new perspective, to represent the judgement faced by LGBTQ+ people nowadays.”
