Anonymous HIV testing is when you get tested for HIV without having to tell your name, NRIC numbers, or contact numbers. No personal data are recorded, even your positive results of the HIV tests. It will not be reported to the government.
You will be required to fill in a form and anonymous questionnaire so that you can provide details about yourself but all details will be kept strictly confidential. Upon registration, you may have to provide your email address because test results can be sent to your given email address but if you prefer that your result is told verbally, that can be done too.
"Please be assured that the information collected is strictly confidential.
A confirmatory email will be sent once the appointment is booked. Please have the email confirmation ready for verification when you go for testing."
Anonymous HIV testing encourages people who might suspect that they have been at risk so it is better to do early HIV testing. Anonymous HIV Testing offers a seriously high level of confidentiality and privacy and it is more comfortable for people to get tested.
Early anonymous HIV testing leads to early HIV treatment and it helps to control the spread of HIV not only because the people who tested positive for HIV can start taking proper medications to control HIV infections to not progress to AIDS, but also it can protect their partners from being infected.
Rapid HIV test kits are used in anonymous HIV testing. The results of rapid HIV tests are available within 15 minutes of doing the test. The results can be sent to your registered email address or mobile application.
"Appointment booking is recommended.
To avoid disappointment, please book an appointment for our Anonymous Testing Service, as we have limited clinical capacity due to COVID-19 crowd control regulations. Clients who booked appointments will be given priority above walk-in clients."

Getting HIV tested should not be difficult, scary, and most definitely, should not be embarrassing. Getting an HIV test done does not equate to having done something exceptionally risky. Getting an HIV screening or test rapidly is an essential part of one’s overall healthcare plan. It protects not only the one being tested but also the ones around him or her. Appointed anonymous HIV testing doctors at PUSLE CLINCIS are professional and experienced. They are trained to assist in making you feel at ease and comfortable when undergoing an HIV test.
Your name or any other kind of personal information that can identify you will not be asked. Anyone regardless of nationality or background can get an anonymous HIV test done at PULSE’s anonymous HIV testing clinic. No records of your visit will be kept. At the end of your visit, there will be no trace of you having even been to the clinic. Even if your HIV screening results come back positive, your identity will remain a secret.
During consultation, you will receive the most up-to-date advice on the risks involved. You will also be advised on the most suitable kinds of HIV test(s) based on your situation. Feel free to raise your concerns with your doctor. In a stress-free and non-judgemental environment, your doctor will only respond with the most appropriate medical advice. An appointed anonymous HIV testing doctor will not give unnecessary input on lifestyle choices or any other issue that has nothing to do with the medical issue at hand.
Only diagnostic HIV test kits approved by both the World Health Organisation as well as National Health Authorities will be used for each test. Your doctor (or assigned staff) will also advise you on the exact accuracy of the HIV test based on your particular situation and window period. Normally at PULSE CLINICS, HIV test kits take a maximum of 20 minutes to show results, though clear indications can be as quick as a few seconds.
PULSE CLINICS provides a discreet and private environment for patients to consult with either a male or female doctor/staff, whichever is preferred.
All screenings for HIV are performed by doctors experienced with STDs and HIV-related infections.
HIV, while incurable, may be managed and controlled effectively with the right treatment and medication. It is therefore important to get HIV tested quickly if there is a case of suspected infection. The sooner the detection, the more effective the management. Getting HIV tested promptly will protect both yourself and your loved ones.
