Our Services:
Complete HIV Care Solutions by PULSE Clinic (Social Enterprise) and Pharmacy

HIV Testing and Counseling

Our HIV clinics offer confidential and anonymous testing services. They use different testing methods, including rapid, blood, and self-testing kits.

Pre-test counseling helps individuals understand the testing process, risks, and benefits, while post-test counseling provides support and guidance based on the test results.

PULSE Clinic is the first private clinic that provides the most comprehensive 28 PCR testing for 28 types of infections caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites that can be transmitted sexually.

HIV Prevention Services

Our HIV clinics are crucial in HIV prevention. They provide education and counseling on safe sex practices, condom use, and harm reduction strategies.

We provide a wide range of Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) to individuals at high risk of acquiring HIV before or after exposure to the virus.

We also provide PrEP refills for local and international patients on our clinics or online. See Get PrEP online

Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) HIV Treatment

ART is the cornerstone of HIV treatment, and HIV clinics provide access to various antiretroviral medications.

We conduct laboratory tests and develop personalized treatment plans. Regular monitoring of viral load and CD4 cell count helps determine the effectiveness of treatment and makes adjustments if necessary.

Opportunistic Infection Management

HIV weakens the immune system, making individuals more susceptible to opportunistic infections.

Our HIV clinics offer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of these infections, such as tuberculosis, pneumonia, and various sexually transmitted diseases. We may also administer vaccinations to protect against certain conditions.

HIV Care and Support

HIV clinics provide ongoing care and support to individuals living with HIV. This includes regular check-ups, treatment adherence monitoring, medication side effects management, and addressing health concerns.

Mental Health & Wellness

Living with HIV can significantly impact mental well-being. HIV clinics may offer mental health services, including counseling and therapy. These

services help you cope with the emotional challenges associated with HIV, manage stress, and improve your quality of life.

Guide to Antiretroviral Therapy (ART)

While there is no cure for HIV/AIDS and the virus cannot be eliminated once contracted, Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) plays a crucial role in managing HIV and preventing further complications. Regardless of the stage of the disease or any existing health issues, everyone diagnosed with HIV should begin ART. Even those with an undetectable viral load must continue their treatment. ART usually involves a combination of two or more medications from different classes to effectively reduce HIV levels in the blood. Many ART regimens now provide the convenience of combining multiple medications into a single daily pill.

REMEMBER: HIV IS NOT THE END

An undetectable viral load is achievable with effective treatment.
At PULSE, we can help you live a normal life expectancy while preventing transmission to others.

A Complete Approach to Holistic Care

At our HIV clinics, we offer a holistic approach to care, focusing on the medical, psychological, and social dimensions of treatment. We provide comprehensive services, including HIV prevention treatment (HIV PrEP and HIV PEP), HIV testing, HIV medication refills, counseling, antiretroviral therapy (ART), opportunistic infection management, mental health support, and community outreach programs.

We understand that meeting the varied needs of individuals living with HIV is crucial for their overall well-being and effective management of the condition.

What to Expect During Doctor Visits for Antiretroviral Therapy (HIV Treatment)

HIV treatment doctor visits are typically straightforward and resemble other medical appointments, though they might feel intimidating. During the visit, the doctor will ask questions and conduct routine exams to assess how HIV is impacting your body. They may also discuss strategies to prevent HIV transmission and inquire about your sexual or injection partners. Blood tests will be performed to measure your viral load and assess the effectiveness of your treatment. Additional tests may be done to check for other infections or health concerns, and vaccinations could be recommended. The doctor will review your treatment plan, adjust your medication if necessary, and use the blood test results to guide decisions about your ongoing ART.
