Pulse Gallery – Ploen Chit is a recently opened art gallery where you can witness award-winning, thought-provoking, and moving masterpieces from the participants of the gallery’s in-house competition, PULSE Awards Sexhibition 2021 Sexual Health Matters. It is an art competition delegated and participated by curated artists from South East Asia and Hong Kong.

PULSE Gallery – PHAYA THAI 

PULSE Gallery branch in Phaya Thai boasts a serene, lush, and calming atmosphere when you visit the venue. They feature an environmentally-inspired interior with artworks that complement the look of the venue. When you visit, it is best to try their homemade concoctions to complete your experience. The art space will soon launch its thematic exhibition which will be open for participating artists.

PLAY ART HOUSE GALLERY 

Songwad Road is home to the trendy Play Art House Gallery where you can witness a rich variety of contemporary arts curated by the talented artists of Bangkok to bring harmony and camaraderie amongst artists from within the community and outside. The building where the gallery is located shows the preserved colonial-style stories that had transpired in the beginning years of the neighborhood, as well as provides a story of the local’s previous way of living.

PALETTE ARTSPACE 

Boasting a 5-level gallery, Palette Artspace can easily be found right beside Thong Lo BTS Station. In this gallery house, you will experience a lot of things. On the first level, you can find a milk bar that sells coffee and dessert. When you go up to the second level, you have a chance to participate or sign up for an art workshop. Meanwhile, the third and fourth floors are used for the entire paintings and drawing exhibitions. Lastly, the fifth floor serves as a rooftop where you can have a chill moment.

GREEN LANTERN GALLERY 

Right next to Palette Artspace, you can find Green Lantern Gallery. There is so much history in this place. Used to be called The Green Lantern Area, this place was formerly known as the place for sex workers. Following this idea, the owner decided to focus on featuring nude and erotic art.

100 TONSON ART GALLERY

Being a remarkable contributor to the Bangkok art community, Tonson Art Gallery has been creating opportunities for the local art scene by supporting them with the latest approach in art exhibitions of contemporary arts in all of Bangkok. Now expanding as a non-profit organization, 100 Tonson Art Gallery aims to reach out to more artists to encourage and upgrade their artistry.

MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART (MOCA) 

This famous museum features a combination of traditional Thai art and international academic art. The building is divided into five sections where you can find permanent collections from world-renowned artists and temporary art exhibitions. MOCA exemplifies a high-standard exhibition of installation arts, group exhibits, and live performance presentations.

BANGKOK ART AND CULTURE CENTER 

BACC, located in Siam Discovery, is one of the major art museums in Bangkok. Other than the usual exhibit of various artists, performing arts, and conferences, BACC holds one of the biggest annual arts festivals, the Bangkok Art Biennale. You can walk around the building and check out the People’s Gallery, art libraries, and bookshops inside.

SATHORN 11 ART SPACE 

Known as a contemporary art gallery with an engaging and active scene, Sathorn 11 Art Space is also a bar spot where you can have fun while indulging in great choices of homemade spirits and wine. This particular art gallery is famous to international and local art enthusiasts with in-house programs for artists. They provide opportunities to the art community with internships and several charity events.

WOOF PACK GALLERY 

Located inside the multi-purpose creative community Woof Pack Building, this gallery space features a mix of art compositions and has been hosting phenomenal art events since 2017. Inside the Woof Pack Building where the gallery is housed has plenty of restaurants and multi-purpose event halls that mostly do events about photography, painting, multimedia, film, and others.

BANGKOK CITY CITY GALLERY 

Bangkok City City Gallery is open for all ideas and artistic forms in their exhibition space. They highly encourage collaboration and contribution of work. Located in the middle of Sathorn, their hybrid project is to be an open space and commercial gallery for the community while working together with Studio 150, partnering with Bangkok Art Book Fair and Bookshop Library.

A CLAY GALLERY 

Focused on featuring ceramic sculptures, A Clay Gallery in Sathorn is a humble ceramic shop with a café inside that gives off a homey and intimate art space.
