Society’s relationship to sex is paradoxical. Sex is everywhere, yet it is frowned upon. Sex is abundant in advertisements, movies, and all forms of pop culture. However, it is also a taboo; porn is hidden away and sex workers are ostracized. <br></br> Pornograms is an attempt to mirror society’s relation to the issue of sex: captivation and repulsion. These pieces are collaged images from porn magazines traced on transparency paper to create a handmade negative which was then contact printed in the darkroom to create a visual push and pull.
