Starting PrEP for the first time can feel like a big step — but we make it easy, discreet, and medically thorough. Our goal is to ensure you start safely, confidently, and fully informed.

What Happens During Your First Visit?

Your first PrEP appointment is designed to cover everything in one smooth session. Here’s what we’ll do:

Personal Consultation & Risk Assessment

You’ll meet with our doctor to discuss:

• Your medical history
• Your sexual health history
• Your level of HIV exposure risk
• The most suitable PrEP dosing plan (daily or on-demand)

This is a confidential, judgment-free discussion focused entirely on your health and safety.

Rapid HIV, Hepatitis B & Syphilis Testing

We perform:

• Rapid HIV test (results in about 15 minutes)
• Hepatitis B screening
• Syphilis testing

Knowing your HIV status before starting PrEP is absolutely essential. PrEP is only safe for individuals who are confirmed HIV negative.

Kidney & Liver Function Blood Tests

PrEP medications are processed through the kidneys, so we must confirm your kidney function is healthy before prescribing treatment. We may also check liver function and hepatitis B immunity status.

These tests ensure your treatment is both safe and appropriate for you.

Same-Day Prescription & Medication Dispensing

• Once your results are confirmed and everything is medically appropriate, you can receive your PrEP medication immediately — no second visit required.
• The entire process typically takes about 30 minutes, provided you arrive on time.
• You do not need to book separate appointments for HIV or blood tests — everything is included in your PrEP visit.

How Much PrEP Can You Receive?

Depending on your medical results and personal situation, you may receive up to 12 months’ supply during your visit (especially helpful for those who travel frequently or visit annually).

• Teno-Em
• Ricovir-Em
• Tenof-Em
• Taficita
• Tafero-Em

You will also receive a medical certificate, which allows you to travel internationally with your PrEP medication.

Important Before Your Appointment

Before testing:

• You should not have had high-risk HIV exposure (e.g., condomless sex or needle sharing) within the past 14–21 days, as very recent infections may not be detected.
• You must be HIV negative to safely start PrEP.
• Your kidney function must be within safe limits.

Can’t Visit the Clinic in Person?

If you’re unable to attend physically, PrEP may be arranged through our licensed online services.

To proceed remotely, you’ll need:

• A valid doctor’s prescription or
• Recent HIV and lab test results
• A copy of your passport for verification

Our doctors will carefully review your results before supplying medication. Typically, 3–6 months’ supply can be dispensed per order when managed remotely.
