How is Chlamydia Treated?
Chlamydia is typically treated with antibiotics like doxycycline or azithromycin, often requiring just a single dose. However, if a secondary infection occurs, a longer course of antibiotics may be necessary. It's important that your sexual partners also receive treatment to prevent reinfection and further spread.
How Easy Was It to Get Chlamydia?
Chlamydia is transmitted through unprotected vaginal, anal, or oral sex, as well as by sharing unclean or uncovered sex toys. Contact with infected semen or vaginal fluid, such as in the eyes, can also spread the infection. Having sex just once with an infected partner carries about a 30% risk of transmission.
How Can I Know If I Have Chlamydia?
